Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta may return for the upcoming match against Brighton after missing their 3-2 Europa League loss to Lyon, according to Pierre Sage. Mateta did not travel to France but his recovery is progressing well, and Sage revealed there could be a chance of seeing him this weekend. The team had struggled in the first half against Lyon, falling two goals behind before the break, which left Sage frustrated.
He emphasized the importance of fighting harder, addressing tactical issues, and being more proactive with the ball to improve their competitiveness in future matches.
