Qatari business delegation enhances trade cooperation with Monaco

Doha, Qatar witnessed a significant business delegation from the State of Qatar visiting the Principality of Monaco recently. Spearheaded by Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber, and Sheikh Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani, a QBA Board Member, the delegation encompassed nearly 20 companies spanning energy, technology, real estate, construction, insurance, industry, agriculture, tourism, hospitality, and services.

The mission was orchestrated by H.E. Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic, with the intent to enhance economic and investment ties between Qatar, France, and Monaco.

The delegation engaged in a series of official meetings and business discussions with high-ranking officials, representatives from Monaco's business community, and companies alike. These interactions were aimed at exploring joint investment opportunities and fostering deeper engagement between the private sectors of Qatar and Monaco.

The delegation's agenda included three key high-level meetings with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Minister of State of Monaco, H.E. Christophe Mirmand, and H.E. Isabelle Berro Amadei, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Monaco.

The discussions underscored the potential for bolstering bilateral relations, advancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation, and promoting direct engagement between the two business communities. There was also emphasis on the exploration of new projects and partnerships in sectors of mutual interest. The delegation's visit was highlighted as a pivotal moment, marking the first large-scale business delegation from Qatar to Monaco, featuring companies from a broad spectrum of key sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani underscored the significance of this visit, noting its status as the inaugural large-scale Qatari business delegation to Monaco. He expressed the Qatari private sector's keen interest in exploring new markets and fortifying international business ties. H.E.
