Pattaya driver asks couple to wait until hotel before sex acts

A Pattaya ride-hailing driver has expressed his discomfort following an incident where a foreign man and a Thai woman engaged in oral sex in the back seat of his car during a late-night journey. The driver, 29-year-old Witsarut Thapthet, known as Pond, picked up the couple near a hotel on Pattaya’s Walking Street around 3:45am on October 15.

According to Pond, the couple began touching each other shortly after entering his vehicle, and their intimate behavior continued intermittently throughout their 2 to 3-kilometer journey to their destination hotel. Although the driver acknowledged that the couple may have been caught up in the moment, he believed they should have waited until they reached their accommodation instead of engaging in such behavior while in the taxi.

Pond, who has encountered similar situations frequently while working as a ride-hailing driver in Pattaya, urged passengers to refrain from inappropriate behavior inside ride-hailing vehicles and respect drivers by maintaining a comfortable environment during the journey.
