Osimhen rated best striker in history of Turkish Super Lig

Sports commentator Volkan Demirel has declared Galatasaray's Victor Osimhen as the greatest striker in the history of the Turkish Super Lig. This assessment came after Galatasaray suffered a 4-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League. Demirel believes the Nigerian international is in an entirely different league compared to football legends such as Nicolas Anelka, who played for Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super Lig from 2005 to 2006.

Demirel stated that "after this, a man of this caliber won't come along either," emphasizing the sheer uniqueness of Osimhen's talent. Although many legendary players have graced the Turkish Super Lig, such as Anelka, Niang, Gomis, Sørloth, and Mario Gomez, Demirel firmly asserts that Osimhen stands in an entirely separate category.
