MWC26 Doha returns to shape digital future

Doha, Qatar - The GSMA has unveiled the agenda for MWC26 Doha, the region's leading connectivity event, set to take place from November 8-10, 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), co-located with ITU's Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-26).

This second edition of MWC26 Doha will focus on shaping the future of digital transformation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The event will gather key figures from 5G, AI, digital infrastructure, and policy to define the next steps in connectivity.

The program will showcase insights from AI, policy, satellite, and digital infrastructure experts, as well as exhibitors and sponsors from telecommunications operators, cloud and AI leaders, security specialists, satellite providers, and infrastructure companies.

GSMA Director General Vivek Badrinath stated that Doha will become a global hub for dialogue on connectivity, AI, and digital transformation during the co-located MWC26 Doha and ITU PP-26 events. The MENA region is witnessing a surge in interest in AI, advanced networks, and digital infrastructure, presenting new opportunities for economic growth.

The MWC agenda will revolve around 'The IQ Era', with themes addressing current boardroom and policy discussions across MENA and beyond, including 'AI in Action: Practical AI deployment, from intelligent data centres and AI-ready networks to connected healthcare and new productivity models' and 'Intelligent Economies: How governments and businesses can use technology to support competitiveness, inclusion, and national transformation'.

In partnership with Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, MWC26 Doha aims to build upon its successful debut edition in 2025, which attracted over 9,000 attendees from 110 countries.
