Muse Spark Open

Muse Spark Open, a leading agentic model, is now available for download, marking a significant milestone in accessible AI technology. This model, boasting 816B total parameters and a 1M-token context window, is built for coding and complex software engineering tasks, setting a new standard for agentic work.

Muse Spark Open is natively multimodal and has been optimized for Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios, taking full advantage of the system's unified memory architecture and 1.2 TB/s of memory bandwidth. Running on two Mac Studios, the model behaves like a supercomputer, capable of handling massive workloads with ease.

The model is available through various API platforms including Baseten, Fireworks AI, Groq, Modal, Nebius, OpenRouter, and Together AI. Model weights are accessible on platforms like Amazon SageMaker AI, Google Cloud Model Garden, Hugging Face, and Microsoft Foundry Models. Developers can leverage PyTorch to further customize the model to their specific needs.

Muse Spark Open has undergone rigorous safety evaluations, meeting stringent thresholds for release. It demonstrates strong safeguards across various risk categories, as demonstrated through real-world agentic workflows such as shipping iOS changes and reviewing video footage.

The model is released under the Muse Model License, which permits many developers to use the model for free.
