Love is Blind, the reality show that premiered on Netflix in 2020, has taken the world by storm with its unique approach to matchmaking. The show, which has spawned 13 international editions, follows single men and women in "pods" where they interact without seeing each other. After choosing their potential partners, the couples meet for the first time and become engaged.
They then spend time at a luxury resort getting to know each other better before facing the final stage, where they return to their lives and meet each other's families and friends before tying the knot.
The US edition of Love is Blind, which premiered in January 2025, has become a fan favorite, ranking highly on IMDb with a 5.6/10 rating. The show, hosted by Steffi and Chris Wackert-Brungs, featured 30 singles from across the country. Only one couple, Alina and Ilias, has remained married, a fact revealed in the reunion episode.
Other international editions have also proven popular, with Love is Blind: Brazil, hosted by Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo, topping the list with a 6.2/10 IMDb rating. The show, which debuted in October 2021, had over 2.1 million viewers in its first week. The series has seen its fair share of drama, as seen in season one when Nanda revealed that she had separated from her first partner and reunited with another.
Six couples made it to the wedding stage, but none have remained together according to the reunion episodes.
