Spanish club Getafe has submitted an official offer to sign former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who is currently a free agent after his contract expired in the summer. Sancho, 26, is actively exploring his options as he searches for a new club. Getafe, currently situated at 14th in La Liga and participating in the Europa Conference League, aims to bolster their squad.
The La Liga side is interested in finalizing a deal with the winger, who is keen on a move away from England but remains open to all possibilities as he ponders his next career move. Sancho, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for £73 million, has struggled to find consistent playing time at Old Trafford.
He has made 39 appearances for Aston Villa in the 2023-24 season, contributing to the team's success in the Europa League and Champions League qualification.
