I benchmarked Nvidia's RTX Spark: Apple wins the CPU war, but Nvidia's GPU just broke my testing charts
I benchmarked Nvidia’s RTX Spark inside the Surface Laptop Ultra. From 115 FPS DLSS gaming to AI and battery tests, here is the lab data.
Nvidia's RTX Spark platform has arrived, sparking discussions about its performance compared to Apple's M-series silicon. While the CPU has underperformed against Apple's M5 Pro, the GPU has managed to match the performance of an RTX 5070 laptop, even when subjected to x86 emulation. The RTX Spark's performance remains consistent whether plugged in or unplugged, thanks to its efficient power management. In gaming, the RTX Spark's Blackwell RTX GPU competes with high-end laptops, such as the RTX 5070.
