Fleetworthy expands Expedited Inspection to five states

Fleetworthy recently expanded its Expedited Inspection program to California, Michigan, Vermont, and Maine, bringing the automated roadside inspection tool to a total of five states. The program has been operational in Nevada since June 2025. When a truck is selected for inspection, Fleetworthy's program sends fleet and vehicle data, as well as the driver's electronic Record of Duty Status (eRODS), directly to the officer.

Eligibility for the program requires fleets to use Fleetworthy's Weigh Station Bypass service and run ELDs from Geotab or Platform Science. Fleetworthy claims that the program has already resulted in time savings for enforcement officers, with Sgt. Scott Keane of the Nevada Highway Patrol stating that they are able to save about 15 minutes per inspection, which would amount to roughly $22.82 saved per inspection.

The program is free to state transportation departments and state police and was developed in collaboration with fleets, state agencies, and enforcement partners. Fleetworthy expects to expand the program to more states and ELD integrations in the future.
