Fahmi: Pakatan 95pc done with Melaka candidate talks

Pakatan Harapan (PH) Communications director Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil announced that discussions on the list of PH candidates for the Melaka state election are nearly complete. Fahmi, who is also the communications minister, stated that the candidate announcement is scheduled for October 24, with the venue to be determined later.

He confirmed that the candidate list discussions have reached 95% completion at the party level, with the final decision made by the PH Presidential Council. The announcement, originally planned for today, was postponed at the request of Melaka PH leaders to October 24. The decision was not affected by permit issues or venue problems, as previously speculated. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the PH chairman, is expected to attend the announcement.
