Edifier Launches We-Bass Open-Ear Earbuds With DeepSeek AI

Edifier has introduced the We-Bass, a pair of clip-on open-ear wireless earbuds priced around $60 in China. These earbuds boast a flexible ear-wrapping design, 12mm drivers, AI-powered features, Bluetooth 6.1, and up to 20 hours of battery life. The We-Bass supports DeepSeek and Doubao AI models for real-time voice assistance, with translation capabilities in 21 languages including face-to-face and side-by-side translation.

For calls, the earbuds employ AI-powered noise reduction and a wind detection algorithm capable of reducing wind interference at speeds up to 28 km/h. The flexible nickel-titanium alloy wire used in the earbuds has withstood over 10,000 bending tests without losing its shape. Available in Wave White with matte and metallic finishes, they carry an IP55 rating for dust and water protection.

The companion app features a water-ejection function to remove moisture from the speaker grilles. Edifier has equipped the We-Bass with 12mm long-stroke dynamic drivers, using a dynamic bass compensation algorithm to adjust low-frequency output and a dedicated acoustic chamber to reduce audio leakage. The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.1 and multipoint connectivity, allowing them to connect to two devices simultaneously.

A dedicated gaming mode reduces latency to around 50ms. The earbuds provide up to five hours of playback from the earbuds themselves, with an additional 15 hours from the charging case, totaling 20 hours of battery life. The We-Bass is currently available in China for 399 yuan, or approximately $60.
