Diyar Nurgozhay vs. Alik Lorenz booked for UFC Qatar

UFC Fight Night 294 is set to feature a new light heavyweight bout between Diyar Nurgozhay and Alik Lorenz. The fight is scheduled for November 21 at the Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena in Al Rayyan, Qatar. Nurgozhay, who has a record of 12-2 with two of those wins coming in his UFC career, is aiming to build on his recent winning streak.

Lorenz, on the other hand, will be making his UFC debut in Qatar with an 8-2 record and no UFC losses. After securing a contract with UFC in August via the Dana White Contender Series, Lorenz is eager to start his professional career overseas. The full card for UFC Fight Night 294 will include fights between Jiri Prochazka and Navajo Stirling, Aljamain Sterling and Kevin Vallejos, Dan Hooker and Brian Ortega, Asu Almabayev and Kyoji Horiguchi, Jared Cannonier and Ikram Aliskerov, Aleksandre Topuria and Santiago Luna, Shamil Gaziev and Tallison Teixeira, Amir Albazi and Alessandro Costa, Tahir Abdullayev and Jake Matthews, Dom Mar Fan and Nikolas Motta, Jacqueline Cavalcanti and Michelle Montague.
