Daredevil: Born Again is supposed to end with season three, says Marvel TV head
Head of Marvel Television, Animation, Comics & Franchise, Brad Winderbaum recently fielded questions about the decision to end Daredevil: Born Again .
Marv Winderbaum, Marvel Television's head, recently explained on The Brandon Davis Show that Daredevil: Born Again will conclude with its third season, despite previously suggesting it could run indefinitely. The Marvel executive acknowledged the difficulty in accepting a beloved show's end, but insisted, "The plan was always to culminate at three."
Winderbaum praised showrunner Dario Scardapane's work on season three, especially his exploration of the "Devil In Cell Block D" storyline. Born Again showrunner Scardapane reportedly left Marvel during post-production of the third season, a move that aligns with the typical short tenures of showrunners in New York. Despite the split, Winderbaum emphasized that Born Again was always intended to be a trilogy, likening it to trade paperbacks with three volumes.
