Bengals bye week NFL draft order update
Here's where the Bengals stand in the NFL draft order at the bye week.
As the Bengals take a much-needed bye week, they are not ignoring the NFL draft. Currently, the team is holding the No. 15 spot in the draft order. This could change during the bye week as the results of other teams' games impact the standings. With nearly a year until the draft, the Bengals' priorities seem to lie in improving the offensive line and adding a versatile tight end to complement Joe Burrow's skill set.
However, defensive concerns in the second and third levels, as well as contract issues for players DJ Turner and Dax Hill, suggest that the team may prioritize addressing these areas over draft day moves. The Bengals are hoping to drop at least 15 spots in the draft order by next year.
