Becker 'just never gives up' in fourth-straight win after 0-3 start
After starting the season 0-3, Becker has now won four in a row and they aren't stopping. With a win against rival Rocori, the 'Dogs are confident.
Becker senior quarterback Tristan Kowalkowski led his team to a hard-fought 35-32 victory over Rocori, a win that marked their fourth straight following a 0-3 start. Kowalkowski demonstrated his team's never-give-up attitude by scoring twice in the final quarter, including a 53-yard touchdown pass to senior ATH Cody Deters. The Bulldogs' offensive prowess was evident in the fourth quarter, as they overcame Rocori's 66-yard touchdown response by senior receiver Mayson Wahnschaffe.
Kowalkowski, who had a total of four touchdowns, was the beacon of confidence that has propelled Becker to the top of Section 8AAAA. Despite Rocori's recent wins over Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls, Kowalkowski remains optimistic, focusing on the team's resilience and upcoming playoff run.
