Antonio Conte is reportedly eyeing the vacant managerial position at Manchester United, with sources revealing that he has taken initiative to pursue the job. Michael Carrick's performance has been under scrutiny as United's poor start to the season has left them in a precarious 12th place in the Premier League, with just six points from six games.
The club has not made any immediate plans to replace Carrick, but with ongoing struggles, Conte could be a potential replacement. The Italian manager, who expressed interest in the role during the summer, is confident he can turn United around and guide them back to success.
