KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — A dramatic video capturing the terrifying moment violent storm winds appeared to lift a car...
An alarming video showing a car seemingly being lifted by violent winds during a thunderstorm near a toll plaza in Kota Damansara has been widely shared on social media. The footage, captured at approximately 6:30 PM yesterday, depicts a powerful vortex emerging amidst heavy rain and strong gusts, lifting the rear of a stationary car and hurling it into an adjacent vehicle.
Despite the collision, neither driver nor their passengers sustained any injuries. The incident occurred during an intense evening downpour that caused significant disruptions to rush-hour traffic across Selangor and the Klang Valley. The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) had issued a regional thunderstorm warning earlier, predicting heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds in several states on the peninsula as the evening commute reached its peak.
