The Witcher 3 Remastered Switch 2 Patch Is Officially 'On the Way'
CD Projekt Red just gave an important update to Switch 2 players waiting for their The Witcher Remastered patch.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered has received a patch for the Nintendo Switch 2, according to developer CD Projekt Red. The patch, version 5.01, addresses performance issues, bloom, and visual customization options for the game. Initially, the Switch 2 users were not included in the update, leaving them with any problems caused by the remastered patch.
However, CD Projekt Red assured fans that they were still working on a Switch 2 patch and provided information when they had more details. Another patch was released on October 13, focusing on stability and gameplay experience improvements for the PlayStation 5. Despite the prioritization of other platforms, CD Projekt Red acknowledged the growing number of Witcher 3 players on Switch 2 due to the game duplication exploit.
The company informed fans that the Switch 2 update would include all improvements made to other platforms and fix specific issues related to image clarity and sharpness on the Nintendo Switch 2.
