#SHOWBIZ: LLØØPP at REXPERIENCE KL: New immersive audiovisual showcase launches Nov 7

Kuala Lumpur, where the city's energy converges, now hosts a groundbreaking immersive audiovisual experience. LLØØPP, an innovative format by Dutch-American artist Ray Tijssen, has made its debut at REXPERIENCE KL, a digital art gallery within REXKL. This is not just a standard exhibition; it's a multi-layered journey that transforms the same room three times within a single day.

The format, produced by SQNXR and presented alongside Jazzy Group, offers three distinct experiences: MORNING, DUSK, and DANCE. Each programme pairs an original 10-minute musical score with a corresponding generative visual art piece, creating an ambiance that shifts from relaxation to dining to dance. MORNING, scheduled for November 7, features yoga and meditation sessions; DUSK offers an early evening dining experience with a curated menu; and DANCE is a late-night electronic music session accompanied by a live performance by 0010x0010.

The beauty of LLØØPP lies in its continuous loop, allowing visitors to enjoy a single cycle or linger through multiple loops during their booked session. Each programme, while running independently, creates a unique atmosphere within the same physical space. According to Ray Tijssen, the artist behind LLØØPP, the music and visual elements are composed together, ensuring that each experience alters the perception of the space and the way people interact with it.

This residency marks a new era for LLØØPP, designed for long-term use in immersive venues, cultural hubs, and hospitality spaces. It provides audiences with a compelling reason to revisit the same room, each time discovering something different. Jazzy Group CEO Joanne Goh highlighted how Kuala Lumpur's diverse offerings—wellness, food, and nightlife—now converge within REXKL, with LLØØPP providing a seamless blend of these experiences.
