‘She takes better selfies’: Shashi Tharoor praises activist Neha Bora after INDIA bloc’s Delhi march
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor praised AISA president Neha Bora for her courage after meeting her at the INDIA bloc’s March for Democracy in New Delhi.
Amid ongoing protests in Delhi over alleged electoral roll irregularities, Tamil Nadu's ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is poised to join the Congress-led INDIA bloc's campaign against the Chief Electoral Commissioner (CEC) following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. Scheduled for October 15 in Chennai, the protest will bring together opposition parties Congress, DMK, VCK, MDMK, IUML, CPI (M), CPI, and CPI (ML) as they unite against the BJP.
The protest is spearheaded by Congress MP B Manickam Tagore, whose decision to align with the INDIA bloc has deepened the political rift between Congress and the DMK.
