Savannah Bananas schedule 2027: Will NJ, NYC land Banana Ball?
Could Banana Ball come to NJ or NYC? The Savannah Bananas reveal their 2027 schedule Thursday.
The Savannah Bananas, a team known for their fast-paced baseball-style game called Banana Ball, are set to reveal their 2027 World Tour schedule on Thursday. Fans are eagerly anticipating news about potential stops in New Jersey or New York City, as the team has not yet announced any venues in the region despite receiving interest from over 200 cities and considering around 75 locations.
The Bananas have previously played at Yankee Stadium and have increasingly brought their game to major sports venues. They have also teased additional MLB and NFL stadiums as part of their 2027 announcement. Should MetLife Stadium, Yankee Stadium, or Citi Field make the schedule? It's a possibility, given the team's track record of playing at these venues.
The Savannah Bananas are the most recognizable team in the Banana Ball Championship League, which now includes six teams and plans to visit around 75 locations during their 2027 tour. Interest in the Bananas has surged thanks to social media, TV appearances, and the rise of players like Jackson Olson, who competes on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
