Pirates maintain unbeaten league start with victory against TS Galaxy
Tshepang Moremi made an instant impact when coming off the bench early in the second half.
Orlando Pirates, the defending champions, kept their unbeaten start in the Betway Premiership by defeating TS Galaxy 3-0 at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Tuesday. Boitumelo Radiopane put the home team ahead in the 18th minute, capitalizing on a well-executed team move. Sedwyn George had a chance to equalize for Galaxy, but his shot was blocked after twisting inside the 18-yard area.
Tshepang Moremi came on as a substitute in the second half and quickly doubled the lead for Pirates. The match was secured with 13 minutes left when Simphiwe Masilela completed a flawless passing sequence to seal the victory. This win marks Pirates' sixth in seven league matches, putting them in second place in the PSL standings, just one point behind Mamelodi Sundowns, who have played more games.
Pirates' head coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou, is pleased with his team's performance after their loss in the MTN8 final to Sundowns the previous Saturday.
