Doha, Qatar witnessed the Ministry of Education and Higher Education honoring 207 private schools and kindergartens with the third edition of the 'Rayty Baydaa' (My Flag is White) Award for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ceremony held at the Ministry's headquarters celebrated institutions that adhered to all governing regulations and legislation.
A total of 207 private schools and kindergartens were recognized this year, up from 166 the previous year. This growth occurred despite more stringent eligibility criteria, which now include licensing-related warnings as part of the award's assessment standards.
The award aims to maintain high standards of security, safety, and administrative discipline in educational environments. It also fosters a culture of institutional compliance and emphasizes respect for laws and regulations, ultimately protecting students' rights and bolstering parents' confidence in these institutions.
