Keyamo lashes at Atiku, says former VP wants to deceive younger generation who don’t know his history

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has harshly criticised certain state governors for their alleged mismanagement of public funds, claiming Nigeria has become a breeding ground for corruption. In a post on his Instagram page, Emenike expressed his dissatisfaction, accusing some governors of lacking a vision for their states' futures and prioritising the theft of public funds.

He also criticised security personnel for allegedly supporting these political office holders despite facing their own economic hardships. Emenike lamented the arrogance and confidence displayed by some governors, stating that many of them lack plans for the future of their states and merely engage in embezzlement. Although he did not name any specific governors, Emenike's remarks come after Nigeria's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations victory, where he was the tournament's joint top scorer with four goals.
