Joe Rogan criticized Democrats on The Joe Rogan Experience, discussing his issues with the party with Michael Douglas, a lifelong Democrat. Rogan expressed his discontent with the Democrats' decision to open the border, provide instructions on how to enter, and transport immigrants to cities and hotels. He questioned the motives behind such actions, speculating if it was for cheap labor or to permanently vote for their side.
Rogan found it absurd to have 10 million people enter the country over four years. He also criticized the Democrats for not holding a primary in recent years, stating that it was not the correct way to choose a candidate. Rogan's dissatisfaction with the Democrats led him to support Donald Trump in the 2024 election. However, he has since been disappointed with Trump's presidency, especially regarding his handling of the ICE raids and involvement in the Iran war.
Rogan pointed out that Trump's promises, such as no wars, were not fulfilled, and the $50,000 ICE signing bonus with seven weeks of training and armed personnel patrolling city streets seemed excessive and dangerous.
