In the upcoming IPL 2027 season, fast bowler T Natarajan will return to his former team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), while leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari will join Delhi Capitals (DC). This player trade was announced by the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday. Natarajan had previously played for SRH for five seasons from 2020 to 2024, where he achieved his best IPL season in 2024, claiming 19 wickets and being the team's highest wicket-taker.
Ansari, on the other hand, will move to DC after participating in 10 IPL matches for SRH in the previous season. He made a strong debut for DC, taking three wickets against them. Natarajan will return to SRH at a revised fee of ₹5 crore, whereas Ansari will join DC at his existing fee of ₹40 lakh. The addition of Ansari is expected to enhance DC's spin-bowling options.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals announced that Yuvraj Singh had joined as an assistant coach and batting coach for the upcoming season.
