I connected my HD antenna to a cheap tuner, and now I can watch free TV anywhere in my house
With a refurbished tuner and HD Antenna, I get OTA live TV everywhere.
I recently set up free over-the-air television in my rural home using a cheap TV tuner and antenna. This allowed me to stream local channels throughout my house without needing a roof-mounted antenna system. After configuring my Jellyfin server to recognize the tuner and stream channels to all rooms, I can now watch local broadcasts on any device in my home.
While I don't watch many live OTA channels, this solution provides a cost-effective alternative to cable or expensive outdoor antennas. I have access to hundreds of local channels, and can record shows to watch later.
