Fintech SaaS Startup RevRag.AI Nets $2.5 Mn To Build AI Relationship Managers For Lenders And Insurers

Fintech startup RevRag.AI has secured $2.5 million in seed funding to develop AI-driven relationship managers for lenders and insurers. The round was led by Accion Ventures, with additional investments from Cedar Hill Ventures, Wyser, and Venture Catalysts. Founded in 2023 by Ashutosh Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta, the company initially focused on savings fintech. Singh, who noted the vast market in the US for financial services, believes there is little competition in their specific category.

RevRag.AI aims to expand its AI agents to streamline onboarding and sales for banks and fintechs. These autonomous agents will act as virtual relationship managers within financial institutions' apps, automating customer product sales, support functions, and providing multilingual real-time assistance. This can reduce conversion drop-offs, particularly for users from underserved backgrounds who may require assistance with financial terminology or English interfaces.

The startup aims to save up to 70% of costs compared to traditional channels while driving revenue generation. Its priorities remain focused on solving this specific problem statement, rather than expanding into additional use cases. The company has already served over 45 customers in India, including PhonePe, Razorpay, Bajaj Finance, Motilal Oswal, and IIFL.

With aspirations to achieve $50 million in annual recurring revenue by FY28, RevRag.AI plans to introduce innovations such as AI-led cross-selling, real-time risk scoring, and automated claims handling. The global AI in fintech market is expected to reach $241 billion by 2034, growing at a CAGR of 23.20%.
