Carrick reacts to Martinez’s criticism of Man Utd hierarchy

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has refrained from providing a detailed response to Lisandro Martinez's criticism of the club's leadership following a loss to Atletico Madrid. Martinez had criticized United director of football Jason Wilcox on Amazon Prime, arguing that inadequate investment during the summer transfer window warranted a closer examination of those responsible for the team's strategy.

Carrick expressed that he needed more information to discuss the matter further, stating that he had not seen the interview himself. He acknowledged the team's disappointment in the result and their concern over the recent poor form, but emphasized that the players remained committed to improving their performance.
