This joint venture, named Cr Korsa Brasil, will focus on maritime, naval, port, offshore, and oil & gas sectors. The company will be co-owned by Cambiaso Risso (51%) and Korsa (49%).

The goal is to strengthen the international group's presence in the Brazilian market and expand into other Latin American markets. James Theodoro, CEO of Korsa Riscos & Seguros, will become CEO of Cr Korsa Brasil, leading the new company's activities. Mauro Iguera, CEO of Cambiaso Risso, stated that the Latin America region offers an opportunity to further develop the energy/offshore and reinsurance pillars of their strategy, in close collaboration with offices in London and Scandinavia.
