BRS using voice tampering and AI-generated images to malign Congress leaders: Chamala

Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, a Bhongir MP, accused the BRS of using misinformation on social media to malign Congress leaders. He claimed that a former IPS officer within the BRS had created an AI-generated photograph of him and another individual meeting Rahul Gandhi. The BRS is purportedly attempting to tarnish the reputation of Congress leaders by employing fake images, videos, and voices, according to Reddy.

At a press conference, he challenged the BRS to prove allegations related to his landholdings, stating he would hand over any properties in writing if they are listed on the 22-A prohibited list or acquired illegally. Reddy also criticized the BRS for corruption during its rule and alleged that the Chief Minister had exposed irregularities regarding land and hotel holdings, spanning nine districts.

He targeted BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, questioning his claim of living in the United States for six years and building a five-star hotel. Reddy asked how the State had accumulated debts of ₹8 lakh crore if the KCR family was so wealthy.
