Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix admits that the biggest challenge he faces before playing the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football is striking the right balance between being aggressive and being cautious with the football. The Seahawks rank first in the NFL with 11 takeaways, and Nix must avoid turnovers that could negatively impact his team's defense.
Nix told reporters, "That's, honestly, really and truly the biggest battle right now." He admitted that he overthinks the situation, but ultimately has to focus on executing the plays at hand. Nix said, "Just play the play. If the play's there, hit it. If it's not there, check it down, run, throw it away, punt." Despite a rocky start to his third season with under 60% completion rate and a career-low 5.8 yards per attempt, Nix acknowledged that mistakes will be made and promised to learn from them. Seattle, also 3-2, will be seeking to rebound from a 32-29 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
