2027: I won’t attend every APC campaign rally – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has announced that he will not be attending every campaign rally for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election. In his address to the inauguration of the council, the President emphasized the need to focus on governance, economic responsibilities, and attracting investors.

He acknowledged concerns that electioneering may distract him from his duties but assured that he remains committed to serving Nigeria. Tinubu encouraged the council members to understand that he will not be able to attend every campaign event due to financial commitments and obligations to foreign creditors. Despite limiting his participation in campaign tours, he assured Nigerians that he will still find opportunities to address them directly as the council coordinates activities at various levels.

Tinubu described the inauguration as a renewed pledge to Nigerians and the responsibilities of the APC as the governing party.
