Politics not do-or-die affair, admit Tinubu has done well – Wike to opposition

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has stated that the opposition does not believe President Bola Tinubu has done well. During his monthly media chat in Abuja, Wike cautioned the opposition against engaging in do-or-die politics. He urged the opposition to admit Tinubu's achievements, saying, "The time as come that not because you are in the opposition party and then you say the man who is in charge of the affairs of the country has done nothing just because of the sake that I’m in opposition, that is not fair."

Wike emphasized that politics should not be played as a do-or-die affair and that the opposition's accusations of failure are unfounded. He further warned that the opposition's approach is concerning, as they fail to present the truth to Nigerians. Wike urged opposition parties to acknowledge the president's accomplishments, regardless of their political affiliation, stating, "Let those of us in other political parties say no this is not the truth, this is what is happening and that is what is going on."
