Police seek witnesses, dashcam footage of fatal Cheras-Kajang crash

KUALA LUMPUR, October 13 — The police are currently seeking witnesses and dashcam footage in connection with a tragic accident that occurred on the Cheras-Kajang Highway, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old male motorcyclist. Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof announced that a report on the incident was received around 6pm on the previous day.

According to the initial investigation, the victim, who had been traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Kajang, is believed to have lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to fall onto the road. The police have urged anyone with information or dashcam footage of the accident to come forward and assist in the investigation.

ACP Naazron provided the contact information for the investigating officer, Insp Nur Faezah Mohd Zakria, at 012-326 8496. He also reminded road users to always be responsible, follow traffic rules, respect speed limits, and drive with caution.
