Mayor Karachi Gives Opening Date for Link Road Between Shahrah-e-Faisal and Gulistan-e-Johar

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has revealed that the Natha Khan Link Road, which will link Shahrah-e-Faisal with Gulistan-e-Johar, will commence operations soon. However, the exact opening date has not been disclosed. Following a review of ongoing development works at the site, Wahab mentioned that the newly constructed road would alleviate traffic bottlenecks and ease congestion on important pathways.

He emphasized that Karachi requires more link roads and highlighted that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is actively engaged in their construction to enhance commuting facilities. The mayor added that reducing traffic issues and making daily commutes more seamless are among Karachi’s top priorities. According to him, road construction and rehabilitation projects are designed to address civic concerns and provide relief to residents.

Wahab also disclosed that KMC teams are working on enhancing the surroundings of Guru Mandir and Meeruth Kebab House as part of larger initiatives to upgrade roads and essential civic amenities. He reiterated that the development of Karachi and the resolution of public issues are ongoing priorities for the KMC under the Pakistan Peoples Party’s governance.
