How to unlock fast travel in Valor Mortis

To complete The Scarecrow quest in Valor Mortis, players must collect two items associated with the unfortunate individual imprisoned in a field. The first item is a medallion, which can be found to the left of the scarecrow in a field, near a cross resting against a tree and a deceased body. The second item is a note with a drawing, which requires a more involved search. Once players have both items, they must return them to the scarecrow.

The note with the drawing can be discovered on the upper floor of the large house, located to the left of the Fields lantern. Players must unlock the shortcut gate adjacent to the big house in order to access this location. From the lantern, follow the path until reaching the gate leading into an open area. Turn left before the gate and proceed through haystacks until arriving at a house in the distance. Enter the house via the back door and ascend to the attic to retrieve the note.

After acquiring both items, players must locate the lover's hidden hideaway. This area is accessible by returning to the barn with a diamond-shaped window on its right side, which was previously encountered. Once inside the barn, players will find themselves in the hayloft, where the lover's hideaway can be discovered. This final reward grants the Bountiful Harvest amber, which provides health when picking up Nephtoglobin remnants.
