Apple unveiled its new HomeView smart home hub, available in a choice of four colors. However, the wall-mounted variant of the device is only offered in two finishes. The tabletop edition of HomeView is presented in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray, each paired with a USB-C cable that matches the chosen color. This compact device boasts an anodized aluminum body and houses a 7-inch Liquid Retina display alongside a domed speaker base.
A stainless steel hinge enables the screen to tilt, allowing for versatile placement on countertops, nightstands, or side tables. Conversely, the wall-mounted version of HomeView is restricted to a limited palette of silver and space gray, relegating starlight and rose pink exclusively to the tabletop variant. Both models are set to launch on November 13 and will be priced at $299 in the United States.
