Barack Obama to campaign with Ohio Democrats as he expands his outreach ahead of Election Day

Former President Barack Obama is making a campaign stop in Ohio to support Democratic candidates in key Senate and gubernatorial races. Both races are highly competitive and have attracted significant campaign contributions to the state. Obama will campaign in Cleveland on October 24th with three-term former Senator Sherrod Brown, who is challenging Republican Senator Jon Husted.

Brown is seeking to reclaim a seat that was previously held by Vice President Joe Biden. Obama will also appear with Dr. Amy Acton, the Democratic nominee for governor, who is competing against Republican Governor Mike DeWine. The Ohio trip is part of Obama's broader outreach to high-stakes midterm races that could determine control of Congress.
