AI will create new kinds of jobs: Angel One Group CEO

Ambarish Kenghe, Group CEO of Angel One, believes that artificial intelligence (AI) will bring about a significant transformation and create new types of jobs that are currently unimaginable. During a fireside chat at Techsparks 2026, Kenghe expressed his optimism about the impact of AI on jobs, despite acknowledging its influence.

Kenghe emphasized the increasing demand for knowledge work, which will require individuals to continuously adapt themselves. He pointed out that as AI enhances efficiency and leads to higher usage, it may result in the creation of even more jobs than we can currently imagine.

When discussing the use of AI in generating wealth, Kenghe stated that the technology has facilitated access to various channels that create wealth. However, he believes AI has yet to address the need for information and intelligence. According to him, AI can help bridge the wealth divide by providing investors with insights on deploying their capital while considering all risks.

Kenghe sees AI as a means to provide retail investors with similar capabilities as institutional investors, who possess advantages such as capital, strategies, and human resources.

Kenghe acknowledged that building simple products for consumers is a complex process, with the biggest challenge being identifying the right pain point and solving it effectively. He highlighted that the more one fails, the greater the chances of eventual success in product development.
