Zong’s Digital Scholars Program, Empowering Young Women For Pakistan’s AI-Ready Future

On the International Day of the Girl Child, Zong, Pakistan's leading technology services enterprise, has launched a new phase of its Digital Scholars Program in partnership with Knowledge Platform. This initiative aims to empower young women and prepare the next generation for Pakistan's AI-driven economy by strengthening critical digital skills.

The program has already impacted over 50,000 students, including more than 5,000 young women, across 300+ schools in 35 cities. Moving forward, the program will reach 10,000 college and university students, focusing on AI, analytical thinking, and problem-solving through self-paced, game-based learning. Empowering young women is a key priority, with 60% of the intended reach dedicated to female participation, specifically targeting 6,000 young women in underserved communities along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Zong's Director Strategy and Company's Spokesperson, Nabila Yazdani, emphasized the company's commitment to investing in future-ready skills, digital inclusion, and women's participation in the technology ecosystem. Knowledge Platform COO Umair Ali echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared goal of providing meaningful learning opportunities for communities in need.
