TH buka semula perkhidmatan, 3 fungsi THiJARI masih tergendala

The Tabung Haji (TH) organization has resumed its main services and operations after recovering from a cyber attack that halted operations temporarily on October 8. However, three THiJARI functions remain problematic. These functions involve resetting login credentials, registering new users, and opening accounts online, which still require further recovery efforts.

The organization claims that all main services and systems returned to operation following a comprehensive safety check, control reinforcement, and recovery actions. TH branches in Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan resumed operations starting Sunday, October 11, while all branches in other states opened normally today. TH's online services through strategic partner banks have also resumed functioning, the statement said.

The decision to temporarily halt operations on October 8 was made to protect savings and personal data from the cyber attack. TH's internal teams are working with international experts and national cybersecurity authorities to investigate the incident, handle the threat, and restore the system. TH has also reported the incident to the police and notified the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and the Personal Data Protection Department (JPDP).

TH guarantees that deposited savings are safe. Rigorous monitoring and continued safety reinforcement will be maintained to ensure the restarted system and services operate safely and smoothly. TH also apologizes for the inconvenience experienced by depositors and requests them to report any suspicious transactions or unusual activities on their accounts immediately.
