Stanbic Bank launches ‘Be Powered’ campaign to drive Ghana’s green future

Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd. has launched a new sustainability-focused campaign called "Be Powered" to encourage the use of renewable energy and sustainable mobility options across the country. The campaign is supported by the Bank's new Solar and Electric Vehicle (EV) Finance Solution, which offers customized financing to assist individuals, businesses, and institutions in investing in clean energy and sustainable transport technologies.

This initiative aligns with Stanbic Bank's commitment to sustainability and the Standard Bank Group's broader "Think Green. Go Blue." agenda, which promotes Africa's transition towards a more resilient and sustainable future.

Dinah Kaleo-Bioh, Head of Business & Commercial Banking at Stanbic Bank, emphasized the significance of sustainable growth. "At Stanbic Bank, our purpose is to foster Africa's growth by providing solutions that are sustainable, inclusive, and capable of generating long-term value. Our Solar and EV Finance Solution is designed to make investments in renewable energy and sustainable transport more accessible to individuals and businesses."

The Be Powered campaign unites Stanbic Bank's Business & Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Personal & Private Banking departments to offer financing and advisory services to clients across all sectors. By promoting the adoption of renewable energy and sustainable mobility, the Bank aims to enhance energy security, improve business resilience, and stimulate economic growth in Ghana.
