Sombr Joined by Fleetwood Mac Legend For ‘Go Your Own Way’ At L.A. Show
"This man's music is one of my biggest influences," the 21-year-old singer said of the 77-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer.
At a recent concert in Los Angeles, young singer Sombr paid tribute to music legend Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac by inviting him onto the stage. The 21-year-old singer explained that Buckingham's music had been an immense influence on his life, growing up alongside him and serving as a mentor. Buckingham, 77, joined Sombr on stage for a performance of Fleetwood Mac's hit song "Go Your Own Way."
Wearing casual attire, Buckingham strummed an electric guitar and joined Sombr in the song's chorus. Earlier in the evening, Sombr showcased a collaboration with The Neighbourhood's Jesse Rutherford, performing their 2013 hit "Sweater Weather." The concert continued with Sombr's tour dates including stops in San Diego, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and culminating in a December gig at Q102’s Jingle Ball in Philadelphia.
Following the U.S. tour, he will head to Mexico City for January shows and conclude with festival performances in South America in March and Australian/New Zealand tours in April.
