UEFA Champions League Preview: Inter vs Club Brugge – Team News, Lineups & Prediction

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza will be the venue for the upcoming UEFA Champions League match between Inter and Club Brugge. Both teams are looking to improve their Champions League campaigns following narrow defeats in their opening matches. Inter has struggled in their European journey, losing to Real Madrid 2-1 in their first Champions League outing.

However, Inter has shown improvement in recent league matches, winning two out of three games, including a 3-0 victory over Parma. Marcus Thuram, Inter's French forward, has been in good form, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his last four appearances. As for Club Brugge, they have been strong domestically, winning seven out of their last eight matches in the Jupiler Pro League, but have struggled with defensive issues in European competitions, conceding at least three goals in their last three games in the competition.

Club Brugge's veteran goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who returned to Meazza from his time with Aston Villa, has conceded three goals in his first Champions League outing for Club Brugge. Inter will be aiming to bounce back from their poor form in the competition and extend their winning streak at home, which stretches back 46 years without a loss against Belgian opposition.

Club Brugge, on the other hand, will be looking to avoid their first two successive losses in the competition since the 2018/19 season and capitalize on Club Brugge's strong away record in this competition.
