Samsung’s Android 17-based One UI 9 rollout just got much bigger in the US
The Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 are now joining the rollout.
Samsung's stable One UI 9 update, based on Android 17, is expanding its reach in the United States. The rollout has now begun for Galaxy S24-series users, including those using factory-unlocked devices on carriers such as T-Mobile and AT&T. The update, which weighs around 4GB and includes the September 2026 security patch, is also reaching Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users in the US market.
This steady expansion of One UI 9 has been moving backward through Samsung's flagship lineup, with previous updates targeting the Galaxy S26 and S25 families. The rollout's recent extension to other markets, including India, signifies Samsung's commitment to updating a broader range of its devices worldwide.
