The 12th Friendship Cup will see the Kerala Overseas Cricketers (KOC) team, comprising former cricketers who have represented Kerala at various levels, compete against Kerala Veterans Cricketers (KVC), a squad of retired state-level cricketers. The tournament will conclude on October 24, 2026, at the Kini Cricket Ground in Bidadi, Bengaluru.
Two matches are slated for the event. The KOC concept was established in 2013 to reunite former Kerala cricketers, fostering camaraderie and the spirit of competitive cricket. Since its inception, the Friendship Cup, supported by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), has provided a platform for former players to reconnect, reminisce, and relish their love for the sport.
This year's KOC team, led by Biju Thomas and vice-captained by Balaji Narayanan, will be supported by sponsors Kappal Logistics, Grand, Honest Steel FZCO, and Zeens Business Center.
