In a recent radio interview, Guru, a musician and former SRC President of the University of Ghana, declared his intention to challenge established MP's in Ayawaso, Nkoranza South and Nkoranza North constituencies. Guru asserted that his accomplishments during his one-year tenure as SRC President, such as providing food for students, constructing boreholes and advocating for a 25 percent reduction in school fees, showcased his leadership potential.
According to Guru, his achievements within a year demonstrate the impact he could make during a four-year parliamentary term. He also claimed to have significant backing in the three constituencies in question.
