Bunker Suite launches integrated AI for bunker traders and suppliers

Bunker Suite has introduced integrated AI tools designed to assist bunker traders, brokers, and physical suppliers. This enhancement builds upon the company's successful implementation of AI technology to manage incoming bunker inquiries. The newly integrated tools are seamlessly incorporated into the digital platform and are currently being deployed to all customers.

Beyond handling inquiries, the AI tools are capable of analyzing bunker delivery notes (BDNs) and purchase invoices, extracting relevant information for review. They also cross-check trade confirmations with the original orders and terms, identifying any discrepancies that could impact profitability. Importantly, despite the automation, teams maintain control over AI-generated records, ensuring that approvals are managed through established workflows.

The AI tools facilitate automatic data capture, enabling teams to maintain comprehensive records of all inquiries, both successful and unsuccessful, along with operational details. This creates an extensive historical database that can inform strategic commercial decisions.

Traders and managers can now communicate with the AI using everyday language to inquire about various aspects such as customer activity, feedback, and margins. The system can compare and analyze factors like competition, traders, ports, and grades, presenting findings in tables, charts, or exportable reports.

Furthermore, the AI can generate detailed counterparty briefings, incorporating public research, data from connected providers, and the client’s internal trade data. These reports, complete with sources, aid in commercial discussions and informed new business decisions.
